Semmelweis University is one of five Hungarian universities who were awarded the Research Centre of Excellence title by the then Minister of Education and Culture Dr. István Hiller.
The award, which comes with a grant of approx. EUR 11,000,000, is a recogntition of the institution’s long-lasting contribution to top-level research and quality education activities in the European area.
The title may be borne until March 2013.
